Folk Museum Website Based on WordPress CMS

ArtDriver has been working with the Ukrainian Museum-Archives (UMA) in Cleveland, OH for the last 4 years. We built the museum's original website back in 2007 using a simple flash intro page and basic html/css programming. In March, 2011, the UMA launched a revamped website based on the WordPress content management system. WordPress has proven to be an excellent CMS for displaying online exhibits and promoting upcoming events.

The Ukrainian Museum-Archives in Cleveland was founded in 1952 by displaced scholars who took on the mission of collecting and preserving items from Ukrainian history and culture during an era when this kind of material was being deliberately destroyed in Soviet Ukraine. Over the course of its first quarter century, the UMA compiled a huge collection that includes many rare, even unique items.

The new site is now live and you can check it out at www.umacleveland.org.
